Dick Vermeil Wine Dinner

On Thursday, December 16, 2010, from 6:30-8:30 BBC will be hosting a wine dinner featuring the wines of Dick Vermeil's On ThEdge Winery. Dick Vermeil is the former head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and he won Superbowl XXXIV as the head coach of the St. Louis Rams.

Coach Vermeil will be at BBC for the dinner and photo opportunites with all attendees. Coach Vermeil will sign bottles of his wine purchased at the event.

Cost ...of the dinner is $150.00 per person, which includes dinner, wine, and gratuity. Seating is limited to 50 Guests. Proceeds will benefit the Mary Campbell Center and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

First Course: Maine Lobster Tail
stuffed with Jumbo Lump Maryland Crab Meat, paired with Vermeil Sauvignon Blanc

Second Course: Pan Seared Sea Scallops
served over a shitake mushroom risotto with a wild mushroom cream sauce, paired with Vermeil Propriety XXXIV Blend

Main Course: Filet Au Poivre
with a cognac cream sauce, served with roasted fingerling potatoes and grilled asparagus, paired with Vermeil Cabernet Sauvignon

Dessert: Individual chocolate football
filled with pastry cream and fresh raspberries, served with a dense flourless chocolate cake, paired with Vermeil On THEdge Zinfandel
