The Brandywine Zoo is home to animals from North & South America, Asia and Africa including several endangered species.
The Brandywine Zoo is the only zoo in Delaware that is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. This is the mark of excellence that assures the public that the Brandywine Zoo meets or exceeds professional standards in animal care, education, visitor services, programming, and conservation. The zoo has been serving the Delaware community since 1905.
The Brandywine Zoo is supported by the Delaware Zoological Society, the not-for-profit partner. They are a registered 501 (c3) organization that is dedicated to the engaging and inspiring wildlife conservation.
