Serafin Ensemble, "The Serafins," is a group of internationally acclaimed performing artists (string, wind, brass, piano/harpsichord, and vocalists) devoted to collaborative chamber music performances and education outreach. The ensemble continues a two-decade-long Serafin legacy of passionate commitment to presenting exceptional performances of small ensemble repertoire. Focused on serving Delaware and the Brandywine Valley, Serafin Ensemble gives performances of great masterworks and lesser-known works for an unconducted ensemble of two to eight players. In coordination with their performances, The Serafins also present outreach activities (coaching, master classes, sectionals, informances) to young children, pre-college, and college-level students, and performances for assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
